Jet powered cat

Hi all, I'm looking for designs for a 9 or 10 metre jet powered catamaran. Dose anybody have any ideas where I might find these or know of anybody that could design me one? Any help you can give will be much appreciated.

 

I'm not sure you will find a specific design for jet drives, many symmetrical hulled cats are adaptable to jets because the directional stability of the hull form is such that they don't need drive legs or rudders to help keep them tracking straight.

 

What sort of speed do you need to achieve, and why do you have a specific reason for water jets?
Is it for fish farming perhaps, or just to reduce your draft as much as possible for operating in shallow waters?

Alnmaritec used to be in Northumberland, but they seem to have scaled down operations drastically now and moved down south to Essex.

 

Drastically is the word.
Sadly just a skeleton crew left now....i was there about -5years ago helping them out on a project.

I was involved in a project with them 10 years ago - they built an Oil Spill Response Vessel for the Oil Terminal here in Barbados.
As Ad Hoc says, they are (were) a very nice bunch of guys.
I do hope that they can 'come back' again to their former strength - they were a very nice company to work with.
And it was a foregone conclusion (agreed unanimously here) that Alnmaritec submitted the best proposal when RFP's were sent out, they were the most helpful when questions were asked (and it took a few months of questions and drawings being modified, all in good cheer) - and their quote was half that of the nearest competitor who had been asked to submit a proposal.
