homemade flats boat...possible?

    hey all i was wondering if anyone has made one of these boats. there's not much to them so they don't seem very hard to make. any help would be appreciated thanks. Spencer

    I have not before. i have though built fiberglass subwoofer boxes, car consoles, skateboards and many other things just no boats.

    That is a good start, having the frp experience. Now I advise you to study several build threads and do research on construction, structural integrity and learn everything you can about the particular type of boat you want to build before you spend a dime on materials. I spent over 2 years reading and studying on this forum before I cut the first board on my newest construction.

    Oh, I almost forgot; Epoxy is much better than polyester.
