I recently acquired a 22ft 1973 Renell Cutty cabin that has been repowered with a 350 Mercruiser Alpha 1 but not completed. I have been looking for info on the distributor that is on it but can’t find anything other than it is a Delco Remy HEI. The engine runs but still needs all the cables hooked up. What I need to know is this distributer suitable for marine application and how would I hookup the Shift Interrupter Switch since the coil is inside?
I’m also trying to figure out where the power steering pump should mount. Any Ideas?

I've never seen a marine version of that distributor. It is a shame because selfcontained units are simple to install.
