Have omc stringer 800 - should i upgrade to a volvo 280?

    i have a 20ft skipjack with a omc stringer 800,should i upgrade to a volvo 280,

    Volvo is the answer.parts availability for stringer 800 may be an issue in the near future. Volvo 280 is the toughest outdrive ever produced. Except for mercruiser #3 which did not shift in the lower gear case
