    Hey Taurus, welcome aboard.

Don't worry too much about the toes. We have a number of people here who's knowledge is matched, and sometimes vastly exceeded, only by the size of their ego.

Only if we lied, cheated, stole, and stabbed each other in the back would it remind me of our parliament. And Dean, Southampton Water and the Solent are far from narrow muddy creeks.

    Hi Taurus

    This is an American site.

All nationalities are welcome but you must not argue with them or they will get angry and shoot you.

And they know where you live.

    Welcome and good luck

    Sorry Hoyt

I didn't know you would be up this late at night. Give me enough time to get out of town.

Anyway I had just got out of bed and having my morning coffee and not thinking straight.

Now of course I see the error of my ways. You don't know exactly where he lives.

I try to be nice, and I would like to assure that Taurus he will be quite safe as I don't think your long range missiles will reach South Hampton.

Oh poo there I go again.

No --the Solent is a muddy creek if you stand with your back to Hythe marina you will look at mud, and if you look slightly to the left you may see the Qe2.

If you go further up until it almost dry you may find the oldest battle ship that England built. The ribs still lie there.

Just nearby is the New forest that supplied the ships builders.

    But Ive never been there.

Good morning Frosty ,Hythe Marina is not in the Solent ,it is on the western shore of Southampton Water ,you will have to look more than slightly to the left to see the QE2 it is permanently berthed in Dubai.

Ah I was looking for the Beuli boat jumble it was a while ago, say 2006.

I stayed at this hotel with a fountain outside and I was so tired I had to go to bed while Coronation Street was still on the telly, so thats like 7.45PM

Why is the QE 2 still in Dubai --wont it start.
