Glassed balsa core

    Are balsa core panels available pre glassed, or is that some thing you have to do your self?

    I remember reading that one catamaran owner was quite disappointed with the quality of the factory glassed panels.

    He said he had wished that he had agreed beforehand what "acceptable quality" of panels was, so he had some comeback with the factory.

    Hi rw, I've comented before on the dry look of duflex that I've seen, seems plenty of people are easily pleased though & building some nice boats out of it, personally I'd rather laminate the panels myself & incorporate some extra detail & gelcoat too. Regards from Jeff
