I am a regular user of Maxsurf and I observe that important features like Grain Stability is not present there and report generation is not as smart as GHS or NAPA.
So I want to upgrade. In this case I want to know which one will be more user-friendly?
For Grain Stability is GHS enough?

    Hi Pavel

It would be a waste of money....because the grain stability can be done with your existing software, but you need to do more manual calculation to lay over the results on the output from maxsurf.
A bit like the "old days" before computers!

So if you do one grain stability calculation per stability book per year...is it worth it...no.

If you do it all day long and 365days per year...maybe!

    Hello Ad Hoc,

Nice to hear from you after a long time.

I am looking for the manual calculation of Grain Heeling Moment, but could not find any good source.

Can you give me any good link/info by which I can calculate Grain heeling moment? If I get that value then I can do the rest in Maxsurf.

    Yours,
    Pavel
