    Dear all,

Question 1) Regarding 'Recess Size' requirement of ISO 12217-1, do you think I have to take into account quick-draining recess too for the calculation?

If the answer is Yes, a lot of boats have to lose one or more design Category(ies).

Question 2) Point 3.1.3 definition of 'recess'
I think that consider a cockpit open aft to the sea as recess is a warning!
Boats like Wally, considering the cockpit open aft as a recess, should satisfy the Recess Size'!
Doing some calculations, Wally power wouldn't satisfy design category C!
    Amazing!

News about You, will be very appreciated!

    Regards
