driven Hoyt jib boom?

    Gents, pushing electrons around the screen but need more practical advice.
    For a bi-mast aft rig, each jib is 17.3 sq m with 5.7 m foot. Cat is 11m LOA and 6m BOA, weight 2000kg.
    since masts are athwart-ship the jib clew has to be managed by some type of Hoyt boom - abt 4.7m long.
    Could a winch (one on each fore-deck) be modified to mount the booms? Travel limits would have to be really serious.
    Would it survive?
