Hey there, i am new to boats of any kind and just bought myself a 5.5meter, 18ft as a project

Long story short there was a lot more work than i expected and ended up cutting out a giant part of the hull due to the foam being fully waterlogged also there was two holes that i cut out. one sligtly bigger

If i should proceed with this project the correct way will i be able to safely operate this boat?

Video showing the boat and the damage I caused, I know. I realize that accessing from the deck might have made it easier for me

It can be fixed, you need to get at it from both sides, so you still need to cut the floor out.

You probably doubled or tripled the amount of work needed to get the job done.

Yes, save the pieces, they can be put back as they were and glassed back in.
