There is a product out of New Zealand called Prop Speed, I have used it extensively and it is quite supurb...basically guarantee no growth on props and shafts etc.

Yes, have heard of Propspeed. Their tech documents suggest it's suitable for use near sterndrives....any experience using it directly on drives? I've sent an email to them asking for further info on this....
Being a silicone polymer, I expect it'd be a real b#@%ch to get off if you decided to paint it with something else.....

International are now marketing a 'clear' outdrive antifoul too, though they suggest its better over lightly coloured drives and may appear "milky" on black ones. Quite how they get past the fact that their primer is gold, I don't know.... It also appears to be only available in the US
There's also another called Aquaguard, which is a water based paint, but there's precious little other info available about it on their website ( http://www.aquagard-boatpaint.com/products.htm#AQUAGARD®_ALUMI-KOAT_CLEAR_SPRAY ) I'm waiting to hear back from them also....
