Hello I got this 33 foot 11 boat hull that I’m gonna be building up and I was looking on any advice I can get on Which propulsion system would be best for this boat I was thinking sterndrives first but now I was thinking maybe shaft and a strut would work as well on this boat. But any advice I can get I’ll take thanks

    Welcome to the Forum Brad.

Can you post a side view on the hull, and maybe a view on the transom please?
A view looking inside the hull would be useful as well, if possible.
What are the circumstances re how you acquired this hull - was it somebody's unwanted project that you are taking over?

Do you know what the hull make / type is, or who designed it?
It would be reassuring if you know that this hull design has a proven record / history, rather than (eg) being an untried 'one off'.

Be aware that if you want a boat to go boating with (rather than a boat building project), buying a second hand one that is 'ready to go' will be MUCH less expensive than outfitting this hull.
If you really want to build a boat, there might be better boats around for you to re-build.

Edit - a PS - From what I can see of the hull shape so far in your photos above, they do not really inspire much confidence in the design - but maybe this opinion will change if you post some more photos, and add some more details (if known) about the boat.

I would suggest sails or a kite for propulsion.
Or both, but not at the same time, necessarily.

But we need the whole story and some more photos.

The photos make the hull look extremely slender and deep footed.
Is this actually the case, or is it just the camera angle that makes it look that way?
Need some good shots from straight ahead, straight astern, and broadside, maybe marked up with some measurements?
Without more info, no one will be able to Accurately answer your question.

It certainly has a hollow look forward, but could be an optical illusion.

Bradley has signed in a couple of times since the above replies to his original post were written, but he has been very quiet since.....
I do hope that you are able to post a few more photos of the boat, and supply some more info about her, including her background.

33 feet is a good size.
Perhaps a 225HP o/b would make it go!
Reminds me a bit of a Panga.
