battery to run ac motor without inverter

    can i connect 20 pc of 12v battery series to run a ac motor ? what is the electronic component needed ? tq

    No you can't.

    It's called an inverter... but something tells me you already knew that.

    Depends thought. If its a "universal" motor that has an internal rectifier, a motor notionally an AC 110/120 v will happily run on DC as long as the voltage is clean and the amps are there.

    @alexandershudai you should probably ask your question on an electronics forum to get the specific detail you are asking for.

    Up until this moment I would have agreed with Bluebell saying that they are not compatible.
