Baltek Duracore and Fiberglass?

    Is this a good mixture for boat building, not sure if I have heard of this type of wood before?

    Duracore is a great material, but I thought it was discontinued. Did you find someone who has old stock?

    Duracore is balsa wood as a core and a light weight wood as a skin, cut into strips.
    It then has to be glued together and glassed for strength and to keep the water out of the balsa (rots quickly when wet).

    I also thought it was not available anymore.
