Does anyone recognise the boat in the picture? I would like to find more pictues on it. Currently building a pilothouse and I really liked the design on this boat.

It has some name on the side tube, but I cant really make up the letters and nothing really pops up. Starting to think that it says "rescue boat"

Any help would be greatly appresiated.

    Pilot Launch

The type of boat in your picture is called a Pilot Launch. Here is a picture of another one: http://image03.webshots.com/3/6/87/41/74268741GFUThd_ph.jpg

Although you may not find another picture exactly like the one in your picture, they are all pretty similar in design. These boats are designed to shadow cruise ships out to sea until they reach international waters.

Aluminum Chambered Boats here in Bellingham makes something very similar and sells tons of them to the Coast Guard and Homeland Stupidity.
