An iron wood ship built in Indonesia

    That is a big wooden ship. The outer hull is wooden doweled together first, then the frames (ribs) go in later. Caulking is bamboo fibers pounded into seams.

    To launch they get ropes and pull the hull into the water. Builder says a billion in their money which is a little over $70,000 us.
