A thank you to Uli for posting some excellent images in the Gallery

As the subject says, thank you very much to Uli for posting so many great pictures in the gallery - almost 100 in fact so far. If anyone hasn't seen them yet, it's worth a look.

And thank you to everyone else who has posted some great images in the new gallery - it's fun to see all the great new images being added.

    I cheated ;)

    Actually a combination of [ url ] and [ img ] tags:

    [ url="http://www.boatdesign.net/gallery/" ][ img ]http://boatdesign.net/fimg/uli1.jpg[ /img ][ /url ]

(spaces added around the brackets to show the code here without the forum parsing it into active links/images)

P.S. Hopefully at some point we will be able to further integrate the gallery with the forum, but I haven't had time (or enough skill with php & javascript) to accomplish this yet. The way I would like for it to work would be that any image that is attached to a post gets added to the gallery (so it can be found more easily if desired) and then a thumbnail of the image is created and inserted into the post linked to the full resolution version (so threads load faster and you can see the image in context.) This shouldn't be all that difficult to achieve, but will probably have to wait until after vBulletin 3.x is released and has a little while to go through the initial patches.
