    Anyone have any info on Loick's maxi-foiler record breaker trimaran design? Looks interesting.

    Raps, what makes you think it's a foiler? Very small ama's so foils would really help....

    I got the pic from the daily sail article, but there wasn't much info available without a subscription. Apparently he was trying to raise funds for a record breaking project..

    Raps, thanks for the heads up. In searching for info Peyrons project I found the Grainger boats. Corley's post is the best there is so far.....

    Loick has been thinking about this for years; there were a number of his own sketches of his single beam foiler ideas published in Voiles et Voiliers maybe a decade and a half ago. But I loaned the issue to someone, never came back.

    That second article is dated July 31, 2005. Also, Loick Peyron already has a Jules Verne trophy.

    It seems he really enjoyed Lada Poch 2 ex-KerCadellac II, but unfortunately I don't think this is going to happen now when it did not happen 10 years ago.
