My interpretation of a 26' X 10' Motorsailer. Draft keel down 6.5' keel up 2.5'. Displacement 6 500-7000 lbs. Keel bulb 1300 lbs, Keel plate 1 700 lbs, total keel = 3000 lbs. Sail area 375 sq. ft. It is a center cockpit open concept. The galley will be in the open cockpit area. In the forward cabin at the bow will be the head with shower, right behind will be a pullman double berth with a large dresser closet. The aft cabin will be a double berth. Basically the living area will be in the large center cockpit area with a dimension of 7' X 9' approximately.

    That’s remarkably shallow draft!
What’s the plan for the motor?

Just change from inch to feet for the draft!!! For the motor I am not sure yet, I think 15 to 25 hp would be good. Outboard as its simplicity but diesel inboard under the center cockpit sole could be the way to go! I am interested to know more about the new Hatz d-serie air cooled with the silent cover version. It seams that in Europe use them as Marine application for small boat! Engine is still open for discussion....
