2 Person Duck Boat

    I'm looking for some ideas on a 2 person duck boat. I want it to be light enough to be carried by 1 person, but big enough to fit a second person in it. Something along the lines of the Otter Stealth 2000 is what I had in mind, or a small Jon boat.

    I have access to 1 inch square aluminum tubing, high density foam, and am familiar with fiberglass. Can anyone give me some pointers or ideas on the best way to proceed?

    If anyone is able to draw up plans I would be willing to discuss it with you.

    Might want to look at Platt Montfort's Geodesic Light Boats.

    Certainly can meet the light requirement, and sizes are right. Your tubing may be useful.
