    I left Neah Bay (Seattle) on a RTW trip in 1979.
    Still haven't made it back.

    Working life spent as a contract helicopter pilot
    around the world. Normally fire season or Seismic
    contracts. Occasionally building or repairing steel boats
    Including shallow underwater operations (Hookah)
    Welding anodes on larger sailboats and temporary
    overplating areas of perforation etc.

    I'm not a commercial diver, just somethin picked up along the way
    But I did do a 6G weld test before building my first boat.
    (3 weeks in Tulsa and $135 plus motel - but that was a while ago ;-)
    Also sail repair and Dodger/Sprayhood construction.
    Sailrite machine. Best money ever spent...

    Languages: Spanish, French, German and English
    Favorite sailing: When younger - Bahamas
    Now the Baltic.
    Retired from flying 2015...
