    Steel treatment under sprayed insulation?

What treatment or coating (if any) should be applied to the inside of a steel hull before applying sprayed foam (PUR or PIR) insulation? Thanks

    Sailing Canoe Build-Novice needs help

Although on the Mississippi/Missouri, and with vastly different boats to what you propose, there's some great detail in this terrific historic resource on the techniques and difficulties of taking canoes up a big river. Lewis and Clark did carry sails on some of the variety of boats they used...

Wanted - Plywood pond toy boat design for 4-6 year old, 40-70lb child

    Everglades Challenge 2024

I'm of the view that the R2AK would be a lot more interesting with judicious placing of checkpoints that meant a boat that could be portaged stood a realistic chance of competing with the now dominant large boats with large crews

What is the sexiest foiler on the market today ?

Current records for pump foiling on flat water seem to be in the ball park of 25km: The Official Foiling Book of Records - Foil Pro https://foilpro.co.nz/world-foiling-records/

What is the sexiest foiler on the market today ?

I can't imagine that the wings used by wing foilers are very efficient - that big fat tube as leading edge and then a single skin - is there a reason why a double skin couldn't be used, with membrane ribs and inflate the whole wing to produce a much better wing section?

What is the sexiest foiler on the market today ?

An interesting project here, with respect to this discussion - using the sailrocket approach of the reversed foil anchoring the rig in the water:

    The Slow Pace of Change

A friend of mine, a Scottish fisherman, in a fairly remote village, has just converted his boat to electric, with PV on the boat. Interesting that it is a bottom up project, not top down. The biggest difficulty has been certification. The film , made by another villager, is not released yet, but...
