    well i found the best prop for that boat it a mirage plus 15"-with a 18 pitch if anyone needs to know

    thanks frosty the prop is new and so is the engine im going to clean out the filter on the carb and install a new water separator filter in it...

    i will try that thank you ,, i'm surprised that only under load it happens it starts up with a tap of the key cold or hot and i rev it up still...

    it also surges a little when it bogs out around 2 to 300 rpm i need Prozac lol

    i have a 1988 amerosport 230 and i put in a new 350 (5.7) with an alpha 1 drive this is a 23 ft boat that 6,000 pounds its got around 260 to 270...
