    Current Boats:
    Built a Payson/Bolger Windsprint, modifying the design with a sloop rig and an externally mounted rotating leeboard. Built 5 masts for the boat, trying for the best one, and added crude boom furling. Made 2 sails from tarp material.
    Raised in rural area, BS degree, have worked in pipelines, USAF, and software.

    Reading books and magazines on sailing, cruising, boat design and building. Lots of books and magazines. Also read Science Fiction.
