    I presume that the sharpy marking is just rough, and that you will have some nice radiused corners on the cut-outs for the scuppers?
    Will you (eg) drill a couple of holes from the inside to confirm where the bottom edge of the scupper will be before cutting?

    Yes, the marker lines are just for visualizing. Reality check. The Loyds surveyor asked about the outside locations.

    To actually make the cuts, I have a carbide blade for my Fein multitool. I'll cut from the inside out, then round off all 4 edges with a carbide sanding disc on my angle grinder. 2 layers of saturated glass, and the gutter is complete. I'll be able to pass something right through the boat for a party trick.

    Maybe pass a big ribbon through and tie a big bow over the cockpit. Ribbon cutting day!

    Part faired or all faired?

    How far to paint?

    I get nervous seeing epoxy bare for too long. Better under the tent, but uv is hard on it..

    I think you'll end up making a slosh guard of some kind. The top of the gutter is overhanging, so a splash in a headsea is gonna sneeze thru the tube. And a heavy head sea will as well since the boat is wider aft. So I have a vision of a thing that covers the front edge and bottom edge. Think strake or splashrail.. Since glassing that becomes a fairing nightmare; the guard could also eliminate the fairing need.

    I realize the boat is not supposed to move much vertically, but we never see these in a real fast Georgia Straits video. And I know, those are like holding a bucket pointing firward and down.

    ps..splashguard would not be on the aft side prolly

    I'm confident that the deck across those bulkheads will be a suitable load path to carry longitudinal forces. Before the undersole bulkheads were fully bonded in I was uncertain, but now I'm sure.

    The bottom of the freeing port gutter. The cleats it rests on aren't bonded in yet, so I can still lower it. Current dimensions are 3⅝" by 10⅝". Or 92mm by 270mm.

    Question: are those floors bonded to the hull with glass tapes?

    Comment: the table jutting into the walkway is gonna get people; make the angle longer and skip the semicircle so if anyone gets it in the leg; it is a glancing blow versus a direct shot

    Ah, I should have been more clear. That's not a table, it's half the cockpit sole. I needed to glass the underside before I bonded it down. Yes, all those plywood soles are taped down.
