I have a 1973 Baylner with a 2.5 140HP with a bad motor came across a 1988 Bayliner was wondering if the 3.0 motor in it will mount into my 1973?

    Welcome to the Forum Robert.

Are you now looking to replace the 2.5 litre bad motor in your boat with a 3.0 litre motor?

Re if the 3.0 will mount in your boat ok, this depends on the location of the mounts relative to the mounts on the old engine - you might have to modify the beds to suit.
Can you post some photos of your boat and the engine compartment for reference please?

Yes I want to replace the bad motor with a 3.0 omc ?? So far I changed the bell housing. The motor is in my boat now. Motor mounts are fine but now my manifold is not matching ...
