Decided to build a dinghy to practice vacuum infusion and mould making.
Should i go with my own desing(given the fact i dont have one yet) or there is somewhat popular diy design i can get?
preferably 3-4 meters and not hard chined like optimist.

There are so many different plans available now for dinghies - do some googling, and maybe post some links on here re the designs that appeal to you?

Do you want it to be a sailing dinghy, or will it ultimately just be a tender for the bigger boat later on?

It is a great idea to learn, but I'd start to learn infusion on a table before I graduated to a dinghy, or I'd find a dev panel dinghy and single side infuse the panels on the table and maybe finish the outside layer with infusion or some such.

The hull you choose is all preferences. I plan to build a scow dinghy foam ultralite for my boat. One I can manually lift up onto the boat.

If the answer is yes, than you should choose the design you want to live with as a tender for your bigger project boat, if that is ultimately what you are practicing to build.

I'm partial to the Windmill. You can soften the hard chine and adopt all the hardware commercially availible already.
