:D glad to see digital familiar face again and always great to be back among friends :)

Some helpful videos on solar panel installations on boats, found it really helpful.

I see the question about Flanders' boat news is gone, but anyways, Flanders is going to have an unmanned boat to cross the Atlantic, in May 2019 the vessel Mahi is planed to depart from the west coast of France for a trip to Guadeloupe. (Dutch link)

English link: ‘‘ Flemish engineers aim to cross the Atlantic in automated boat. . . . . The first project to be supported by the new platform is the Mahi, a drone ship powered by solar energy that is scheduled to cross the ocean in May 2019. . . . . ’’

On Twitter, partly in Dutch, partly in English: Project Mahivideo

Plenty of people want to add little custom features to their boat, which often need custom mechanisms.
This site could be useful in that. 507 Mechanical Movements http://507movements.com/toc.html
It shows all kinds of pulleys, levers, and other mechanisms from pre-industrial and early industrial eras.
Some of it is nautical, and in general it's rather neat.
