    All this time I thought it was a Johnson. It's an E70 ELCSA EVINRUDE. Go figure. Shows how much I paid attention to it.

    My brother is giving me his 60 hp evinrude along with giving me back my 70. Hopefully some of the parts will be interchangeable.

    The corners are wrapped and painted. It looks a little rough, I know, but, the whole idea is to seal and strengthen. IMG_20201014_121207891_HDR.jpg

    It's going to be right where you see the console. That console acts as a strong point for that seam.
