Need a non-adhesive sealant.

I have to seal two beam socket holes and need a sealant for above WL.

I am considering dolphonite or slickseam. Others?

there are only two sides for the bond and no backer; the seam is a little bit uneven; not measured, but somewhere around 0.100".

Use duct seal.

Try some liquid electrical tape.

 

Except it is adhesive. If he did not mind adhesive sealing, why not use RTV silicone gasket maker. Or some polyurethane caulk

that is a sloppy mess and I forgot to mention the hardware track which makes the duct seal super attractive.. a knife cut would release it

 

It can do that if exposed to sun and weather.

How about Butyl tape?

I have sometimes used toilet bowl wax seal for sealing a few things, However if it is exposed to heat it will get softer and can drip a little. Otherwise it is soft, waterproof and never dries out.

 

I have butyl and bedding all my stuff with it, but it gets really sticky and would be a bear to remove the parts once gummed up.

Thinking modeling clay or duct seal better

 

Make a better joint.
Quit trying to seal a bad joint.

Are you going to bolt this joint so the boat doesn't come apart?
A little more information would be good.
