    ‘‘ . . . . Yup, that's a cow being pushed onto a bus, in France. 1960 . . . . ’’

It made me think of President Taft's cow Pauline Wayne who got lost in the railway system by having a private train car . . .

‘‘ . . . . Pauline Wayne became a popular showpiece at the International Dairymen’s Exposition in Milwaukee in 1911. Pauline Wayne was being shipped to the show in a private train car that was attached to a whole train of cattle cars bound for the Chicago stock yards. The cow went missing for two days because a train switch crew had mistakenly switched Pauline’s car. The attendants who found Pauline Wayne convinced the stock yard that this was indeed the President’s cow, and she was saved "from the bludgeon of the slaughterer." . . . . ’’

Don't worry, he won't run for another term.

Vintage Shots From Days Gone By*, that's a pleonasm, but I did enjoy myself there, saw eg. in post #29 a 1938 Phantom Corsair . . .

    * I've only looked at page 1 of 6,712 for now (the thread has now 2,013,399 posts).

‘‘ . . . The body measured an impressive 237 in (6 m) long and 76.5 in (1.94 m) wide, enough to accommodate four people in the front row, including one person to the left of the driver. The back seats could only hold two passengers, however, in large part because of space limitations posed by on-board beverage cabinets. . . . ’’

The 1945 Saab Ursaab design looks a bit like it, on a European scale of course, some pics from a Dutch page . . .

Oh, BTW, 1960 France, or 1911 US, or both ?

I was LMAO for both, learned about Pauline Wayne when I was studying Holsteins about 3½ decades ago, I'm now more into Montbéliardes and Fleckvieh, they're more robust like Holsteins were in Pauline's days, but for economical dairy I prefer a constant cross cycle of Holsteins × Brown Swiss × Montbéliardes × Jerseys (also the Danish version) × Fleckvieh × Swedish Red-and-White, not a new breed, but a constant cross cycle of good originals, which breeds also must kept intact to feed the cycle, heterosis gets lost after a new breed is established, so better keep on cycling.

    Random picture, a Jersey....

But the Ursaab looks a lot easier to parallel park.
