Enterprise dinghy centerboard

Hello
I have a fiberglass enterprise. I'm having trouble with mounting the centerboard. It was originally hung on a mounting (blue) as per the picture. I've since lost this part and have no idea what it is called or how to source another one. any ideas? thanks

 

Have you contacted the Enterprise Association?That would be my first choice and I have a vague recollection that the part was made by Holt-not too surprising.

 

From your diagram It looks like a pivot for the centerboard to rotate on. try Class Association Website – The Official Enterprise Class Association Website http://www.sailenterprise.co.uk/ also Caution Water - Sailing - Enterprise Rigging Guide http://www.cautionwater.com/article.aspx?articleid=46 the photos in the second link show the centerboard and how it is rigged. But as Wet Feet said, contact the association, they can tell you what it is and how to either make one or buy one.

I just spent a few minutes refreshing my CAD skills.If the intended image appears,it shows the sort of thing you should have in the boat.No dimensions,because I don't have them,but it shouldn't be too hard to work it out.The hollow spigot on one side accepts the spigot from the other side and the total width obviously needs to match the recess in the mouldings.The depth to the spigot(s) can be arrived at by allowing the pivot hole to keep the housed centreboard inside the case-the rules may have a stipulation about this.

My boat only had one arm when I removed it but your design would be better. I was hoping it was a part I could just buy no fuss but seems I'll have to fabricate one.

 

Freecad 0.19 . Did you try Holt?They may still have one or two around.
