Credit where credit is due?

An article has been written and published online recently about work done on a yacht.
Reading the article and knowing the facts, it is quite obvious that the freelance journalist that wrote the article didn't know theirs, or knowingly omitted the facts.
All the credit for the bulk of the work has gone to a company in Europe when in fact the bulk of the work that is written about was done by a yard in Asia. Rightfully so the yard in Asia is feeling a bit upset about it.
What can be done in a situation such as this to get credit where credit is due?

 

Not a lot. It happens all the time.
The only way is to write your own review/report and try to get it published, to put the record straight.

 

The yard that did the work in Asia can write to the publication and ask them to print a correction. If they are a reputable publication they will check out the facts and print a correction if information in the article was wrong. If they are not a reputable publication then not much you can do.

 

If the online site, where it was published, can accept comments maybe you can make a correction comment...
