    hi. i live in Turkey

We found an old boat and repaired it.

    we scratched the paint first.

There were holes in the bottom of the boat. By covering it again, we repaired the holes. We covered it with Poiürea. We painted it in the original blue color. We also made the trailer ourselves. I am curious about your opinions and suggestions.

    What is poiurea?
Is it a sheet membrane or a spray coating?

I hate blue boats, particularly dark blue ! :D I wouldn't venture into roughish waters with the little boat, but I hope you get some good use out of it, after what looks like a lot of work done.

thank you for your thinks. but its very useful, robust and balanced.

aluminum material is not very strong. But when the polyurea coating was made, it was very durable. impact resistant. more balanced against waves. I liked it very much. Blue / dark blue color, quicksilver original color. we used it to be original. What do you think? If we painted pink: D

I'd have opted for brilliant tangerine, I think ! I took one look at the hull bottom, and I would say she would hook around in a following sea, has that been your experience with it ?

The repair material may be OK for fixing small holes in the aluminum hull, however if holes larger than about 1 cm are to be repaired, then some woven fiberglass cloth should be placed around the repair, bonded to the aluminum all around the hole. This is to provide better strength.

    Nice boat, congrats!

Does the polyurea coating make the alu boat quieter?

    THNX.
It's definitely quieter. Excellent result, except that it slightly increases its weight. both durable and quiet.
