Hello everyone, I am just starting my carrier at some boat building company as a designer. We mainly work on speed boats for rough rivers which could stand 20-30 people. So, can anyone please suggest me good resources to start understanding principles for design? Thank you all in advance.

Are you an engineer or have some technical education?

I would not recommend ISO 12215-5: 2019 to anyone. It is frankly difficult to understand and apply. ISO 12215-5: 2018 is much clearer and is officially recognized by European communities to obtain the "CE" marking

Yes, I am a Mechanical engineer and freshly starting in a new boat building startup. The main problem is we lack in R&D and we have no guidelines for design and construction. So any resources are helpful.
