Composite Sandwich Panels

    Try this spreadsheet.
    In cells B13 onwards you can put the laminate scheme, including sandwhich laminates, that you want. Logically, you should also enter the glass content, in% of the weight, of each layer.

    No, it is a spreadsheet where the user enters a data and it gives some results.
    Do not forget to disable macros and/or enable edition. The boxes whose background color is cyano must be filled in by the user. Without that data, the spreadsheet can not work.

    Tansl- I think you have the table H2? Works with cored laminate.

    RX, can you post that file as a zip file. I can’t seem to open that one. It seems liked the cored laminated
    Sheet will be easier than modifying the original.

    JM- The one I posted is an image file. This actually came from Tansl. Let us see if you can open it. It is a single file sheet.

    "H2" file is for stiffeners. I hink the OP was asking for panels : "H1"

    I don't know why it is labeled H2. It looks like it is arranged for foam/sandwich. Can you take a look at it?

    I checked ISO. H2 is labeled Laminate stack Analysis and is for a single ply. H4 is for Top Hat Worked example. There is none for H1 example.

    The title of his post is "Composite Sandwich Panel".

    RX, I'm sorry but I caused confusion myself. What I call "Table H1 Ply calculation" corresponds to "Table H.2" of the ISO. I have another file, which I call "Table H2 Ply Calculation" which corresponds to the "Table H.4" of the ISO.
    Sorry for the mistake.
