Need help finding year

    Hi yall, I just inherited a 14' sportsman aluminum boat from my father. It's registered and all good, but I'm trying to find the year and the Manufacturer. It does have a I'd tag on the transom (Pic posted above). I'm assuming that it was built prior to 1972, due to the lack of the HIN. But that's all I can gather. My dnr was no help, and it was never registered with a year attached. Is there any way to find the year and manufacturer through the serial number? Anyone I can call?

    The serial number functions as its HIN.

    Look at the last two digits for 1981
