Would it be possible to alter a 30ft yachts STIX from 27 to 32? Boat has an AVS of 132 which is above the 130 needed. If so what changes could do it? Thanks very much.

Try to add volume of buoyancy when inverted so that total value(m3) is greater than mLDC/850.
That will add 5 points to STIX

I'm sorry to say that my advice in post #2 is wrong. It is based on the ISO 12217-2 standard of 2002 when the current standard is 2013. According to this new point 6.6.8 "If a boat has a reserve of buoyancy in accordance with 6.5.2 b), and also has GZ90> 0 When the boat is fully fooded with water, then FDF calculated as above shall be increased by 20%". That's what you could try to increase the value of STIX, without needing to change anything else. There would be other possibilities trying to increase the various factors with the STIX but, probably, they were not viable. For example, increasing the length in the flotation by 0.9 m could achieve an STIX greater than 32.
I apologize for my mistake and for what you may have been harmed.
