Transom repair, have a few questions

    I never understand why builders attatch the stringers directly to the transom. When I did my transom I made sure there was fibreglass between the stringer material and the transom material. Then glasses over both to tie together. Both were originally wet. But now if one ends up wet the other will not.

    That’s how I thought it worked. Maybe it varies per boat..

    I have one more question by the way, if I wanted to pull with this boat (waterskiing etc) would that be possible or would you guys advice not to?

    Or can I, when I replace the transom, build a system in that would make it possible? I’ve pulled an inflatable band before but that was at low/medium speed.
