Humm, I have no indication Surfs-up is an Hungarian, but if he'll ever show up here again he might tell us all about it. . .

Hungary is a landlocked country, so he is surfing somewhere outside of Hungary.
    And he writes in English.

‘‘Szörf’’ is Hungarian for ‘‘Surf’’ and ‘‘Vitorlázás’’ is ‘‘Sailing’’ (Szörfvitorlázás = Windsurfing / Hullámlovaglás = Surfing on the front edge of a moving wave).

Hence my reference to Hungary . .

    Szörf oktatás 1 - = - Surf education (aka instruction) 1

Yes, that is wind surfing. In Austria I have seen a person wind surfing on a creek.

Harold paysons instant boats can be found at many libraries and are great first time projects at low cost. Build the first boat to learn. If you get addicted you can build more. I built the elegant punt as my first. Had a blast. Built John Gardner’s Lowell dory-skiff scaled down to 12 feet so I could fit it in a 15 passenger dodge as my second. I still use that boat and it is 20 years old.

Hi Coopscraft, thanks for bringing the thread back on track . . :)

Harold ‘‘Dynamite’’ Payson's books are also available on Amazon, new and used, and for the one as shown below there's also an offer for a digital version of 1 US $.

Harold H. Payson's books, new and used, are also offered on many other places on the web, sometimes very cheap.
