Glass Fiber Reinforced PVA

Is there such a thing like glass reinforced pva , two are cheapest you can find !

 

Polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetate, what type of PVA are you talking about? Building on the cheap is great, though generally there are usually very good reasons home brew engineering approaches, don't work out all that well. You can only undercut so much in this regard, before you don't have a reliable base to work with.

 

Mustafa the cheapest boat you can build in Turkey will be traditional wooden construction. Chestnut and galvanized boat nails still float a lot of boats there exactly for this reason. Second cheapest would be a solid polyester/fiberglass layup.
Forget about ferrocement and any other exotic construction methods. And if you want really cheap just buy a used boat.

Common don't give the guy ideeas. I would say keep it to something that will not kill him outright. After all even the refugees have enough sense to buy a one trip chinese RIB.

Anyway what kind of giant reed is that?

 

It is a 100 year old Arab boat. I guess reeds grow big during those time. I have seen some still being built/used but with smaller reeds.
