I wanted to share some pictures of the boat rebuild that my friend and I have been recently completed. I hope some of you get as much pleasure out of seeing a project finally finished as we did. let me know your thoughts please.

    How fast can it go?

What is it going to be used for?

Those posts on the back...aren't they foreward posts? I think I have one of them and they are used for running a loop and through a cleat each side. Not sure about those, but I like the rest; even the weather helm.

Looks like a big job, done well. The reservation with the hull type is the ride, which can be punishing in choppy water.

    Thanks for the replies.

The original fast worker boat could achieve 28 to 30 kts, we hope with the removal of approx half ton of wood and replaced with light weight high density foam to improve upon this performance a little.
We were going run the boat as a small inshore fast potter, the small draft and speed would make it viable, however we have decided to leave it as "ready to convert" to give more options to potential buyers.
The posts are bollards to tie up alongside, on front we have a pair of cleats. I agree that they don't look quite right. We decided to try and reuse all the original hardware after a clean and polish they came up pretty well.

Thanks for the comments, The hull type is a standard Cathedral Hull which as you say "in choppy waters" can be a test of endurance on the body. I would probably install a gas ram seat to take the slam away from the skipper.
