Hi, folks. First post. Thanks for having me. Well, I built an 8' three point Hydroplane with my father when I was a teenager and ran it for one summer. I haven't had a motor for it since, but I'm now, 20 years later, wanting to get it going. What's brought me here is that I want to put steering and throttle controls in it to eliminate the tiller operation. I've done some searching on the web and haven't been able to find the info I'm looking for on how to accomplish this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Hi Caleb, welcome!

I would suggest visiting Glen-L's website and forum for setting up your hydro if you haven't found it already.
They have quite a few members that have built their small hydro designs, which I'm sure are very similar, if not the very same, as what you've built.
Glen-L has a lot of hard-to-find hardware for the smaller homebuilds and the forum is great to see what their members have used to rig their builds.
The members there are also good people and will readily answer any questions too.
    I hope this helps.

Thanks, Dave! I hadn't been there yet, so this is very helpful!
