    ‘‘ Watch as a sea lion drags a young girl into the waters at the Steveston Fisherman's Wharf, Richmond B.C. Canada. ’’

    ‘‘ The girl was rescued by her family members and bystanders. Nobody was injured in the incident. - May 20, 2017 - 6:46 PM ’’

    It actually starts at 1:21 . . . . :eek:

    Thanks to Enavales where I came across the video . . ;)

    The hagfish or slim eels look better when properly prepared in the Kkomjangeo bokkeum (꼼장어 볶음), Korean stir-fried fish dish made with the hagfish.

    That black 'hole' isn't a lake, it's black there because it is not a part of South Africa, but the completely by South Africa surrounded landlocked high country Lesotho, which lowest point is over 1.4 km in altitude, hence the water flows to the surrounding lower South Africa and not visa versa. Such a river flow picture of Lesotho would show this, I believe.

    I don't know them, the linked page is a part of a genealogy website of the village Terheijden and her surroundings. I picked that page because of the rather high freeboard boat project pictured there, I found it while looking for an old picture of the bridge in the next post. The small river just south of Terheijden is the Mark.

    51° 38′ 36″ N, 4° 45′ 11″ E ----> Terheijden

    ‘‘ Vrijheid ’’ = ‘‘ Freedom ’’ = a remembrance to WW2, I think

    Edit: - Yes, it says ‘‘ 40 - 45 ’’ below ‘‘ Vrijheid ’’ (1940 - 1945 = WW2 in the Netherlands)

    Incidentally, the direction the waters drained in the New England area were absolutely vital for determining where the USA and Canada were by treaty.

    William Least Heat-Moon travelled across the US by river, with minimal portages, in his boat Nikawa. He documents the journey in his book 'River Horse.'
