HSC Rules Annex 8 Stability of Monohull Craft

Can anyone give me detail explanation about the text below,

2.1.3 A residual righting lever shall be obtained within the range of positive stability, taking into account the greatest of the following heeling moments:

1. the crowding of all passengers towards one side;
2. the launching of all fully loaded davit-launched survival craft on one side; and
3. due to wind pressure, calculated by the formula:

• GZ = ( heelingmoment / displacement ) + 0.04 (m)

However, in no case, the righting lever shall be less than 0,1 m.

This is very straight forward and self explanatory!.

Actually, now I have to make a damage stability booklet for my vessel (fast pass ferry).
There is a difference between rules text and stability criteria on my software (see attachment).

But it's ok,
I will skip this stability criteria (on software).
Firstly, I think that is explaining the stability criteria.

By the way, I still on going learn english language.

The issue is you are relying on the software to do your work for you. In other words, you are being lazy by not reading and understanding the rules first, before using the software!

You cannot rely on a computer program to do the design for you......garbage in garbage out!
