Yes, but where are the "prediction(s)... by several people how the introduction of foiling in the Moth Class was going to kill the class."????

I flicked through the latter part of the thread and could find nothing of the sort.

    Mini

Hugh Welbourn is working with Sea Air to develop another foiling Mini based on his Q23 foils:

Mini foiler using "Dali" type main foils+rudder T-foil

This is a great illustration of just how little the IMOCA rule would have to be changed to allow the boats to really foil instead of foil assist:

    Freak Rocket

Great blog describing the development of a new foil system for an R Class boat. Foiling has been legal for some time tin the R Class but these guys are trying something different than the wand control main foil + rudder t-Foil.
    Very interesting: http://foiler.weebly.com/

    Mini Fying

This Mini using Welbourn "Q" foils is flying:

    Foil Kit for Mini's

Here is a foil kit for a mini. To me, it doesn't offer the advantages of Welbourn foils. At any rate, before purchasing this kit I'd ask for pictures of a Mini flying with these foils AND I'd contact Hugh Welbourn and pay whatever his consultation fee might be-first.
