Yes, that's what I was trying to show. I live on a river and we all run jets, some of us have custom builds and the design is critical to the performance.

I have decided not to use the Bomber twin @87hp. I just scored a deal on a Yamaha Triple with 120hp. Should be better for the G3 glass hull.
    Thoughts?

Seems like a lot of power for a little boat.

    You'll put your eye out!

I had a 13' Welcraft with a 40 hp outboard and it was about right. The guy I got it from had a 60 hp on it and he said it was too much, it got real skittish and squirrely at the higher speeds.

A warped bottom as mentioned above is a type of hull and not a defect...
The aluminum boat looks to have a flat bottom at the transom, the other boat I can't tell, I'm thinking it will be pretty much flat also. Perhaps strakes could be put on to help handling...? Do jet drives ever have rudders?

You can put that much power on the boat, whether you ever want to use it would probably depend on if you're a speed junkie or maybe just on how much you've had to drink. It would be more than enough power, much more than the boat was designed for.

Both the boats are nice, the aluminum one makes the bigger statement. There are ways to seal them but whether it works well , I don't know.

The blue boat would be nice tricked out similar to this...

Well its been awhile but I haven't given up. I scored a 2016 Yamaha 1.8 liter 4 stroke 4cyl, duel over head cam, 4 valve per cyl fuel injected 185 hp little monster.LOL Now what I am thinking is, I have a 1979 Hydro Stream Vector and it might be a great hull for it. The pad bottom with a notch should work I am thinking using the notch section to put the intake and add on for the pump. Hoping that will get the engine as far back as possible.
