    Good point, but "useful" cabin???

Sorry, personal opinion not really needed here.

Yes, it is great and you found it first. Bernhard Köhler is creativ and courageous to try and risk new ideas. I´m very curious to see how his creation behaves in its elements of water and air.

It looks like he has a real nice place to work, that always seem to make my projects easier.

Manfred, Have you seen any pictures of the power catamaran being built at the same time by Bernd?

Sorry, the answer is NO. Nothing new: http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/boat-design/6m-low-power-10-hp-cat-55956-4.html

I think the "6m-low-power-10hp-cat" is a testbed and therefore we should wait for the results and the lift to drag ratio. I am not sure if
there is a real gain before it is tested and - may be - refined.

I like it because it didn't take a lifetime to build, the average person could build it, did not cost a fortune, and it's on the water and working instead of laying on the drawing board.

    I'd rather have a Sunfish.

Isn't a Sunfish one of those Kayak looking boats with a sail? I would be afraid I'd turn it over.

I'd guess you would actually have to learn to sail.
