Ethel Meatplow has the right stuff name and connotations - their music video images remind me of the brilliant and disturbing photographs of Larry Clark in his book Tulsa ... which came out way back in 1971 - plus ca change?

(Piet) Mondrian has class and (Joan) Miro is also good; Miro is also the Maori name of a superb New Zealand forest tree, another is Rimu. There are numbers of excellent Maori short words; Rako is the Bullers shearwater, Makomako the bellbird and Mako is the famous shark, I also like Hakuwai, Greater Frigate bird - could even do a rendering on the bow?
But isn't this name selection business a litttle premature? - have to build the boat first. And it will have to wait a while because I'm getting Groucho ready for summer.

Realized that if I want to leave the T rudder lifted but in place while transporting the 6.5, then I'll have to crank the beam forward so as not to foul the lifted rudder when the beam (with floats and foils) is pivoted fore and aft on trailer - which is okay because I've done the same with earlier boats, meaning beam raked forward. But the mid section across the main hull has to remain straight (to fit in its open box) but then halfway out each side, will have to rake forward to miss rudder, see my crude sketch.

    length 6.5m
    beam 1.8m

Shifted the 650 out of shed; a very tight squeeze with the hull rotated on its side to have the wings near vertical, should have removed rudder to make it easier but succeeded eventually. Got the deck on. Next job is to fit the beam box and bearing on deck and fit the built-up hatch.
Last shot is of my two grandchildren from Sydney struggling to row my sliding seat and somewhat evil skiff; the asymmetric sweeps caused problems until they got it sorted. The big catamaran is a French design bought by one of the Cox's Bay locals.

Beginning to look like a real boat, like it.
Ehhhrrr….really not trying to expose you any further but since for the time being your aversion to going pro prohibits any sailing vids of Sid why not give the pro to your I'm sure natural talented and with photographic genes endowed Sidneyan offspring a chance to capture foiling gramps "pieremachochels".
Without saying only of course if all consider this quality family time well spend.

    Okidoki,

    Cheers,
