    That's not a 747, of course, but the helm certainly is about as far forward as can be imagined, ahead of the waterline even.

    Definitely for sheltered waters or runs in nice weather.

    I wonder if any oil sheiks are looking for a super-shanty-boat of their own to call home?

    Heck, if I had the swag I might!

    If by foils you mean hydrofoils: I'm not really sure a giant airplane fuselage would be happy with hydrofoil loads.

    But that upper deck (the hump) could possibly be opened up aft of the bridge for a nice, if modest for the size of boat, sun deck ... a couple of stories above the water.

    Oh man! Gotta leave the engines on. Think of the rate of knots.

    If you have ever steered a longish boat from that far forward, you know that takes a learning curve. Some people don't seem able to grasp it.

    leave the wings on (reattach after 'relaunch')

    install a couple floats on the wing tips

    rip most of the roof off the fuselage

    put some safety railings around perimeters of the main wing (and tail) surfaces

    PARTY!:p:idea::D:p Welcome to Squid's bar/grill/marina/play ground etc

    I could see this at many airports which also happen to be near some water.

    airports would never want something like that near by, particularly on the water. It would remind the passengers too much of the aftermath of an accident. Not good for ticket sales.
